Trans World Entertainment Corporation is one of the largest specialty music and video retailers in the United States. Founded in 1972, the Company currently operates over 800 stores in 49 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and operates a retail Web site at www.fye.com. Trans World’s national mall-based store portfolio and the majority of its free-standing stores are united under the brand name F.Y.E., (For Your Entertainment); the mall portfolio also includes select Saturday Matinee movie stores. Other free-standing stores include Coconuts Music & Movies, Spec’s, and Wherehouse Music, which specializes in the sale of used CD, DVD and video game products.
