Trans World Entertainment is seeking a Financial Analyst to be responsible for providing accurate and timely reports and analyses to aid in management's decision making process. Candidate must understand and be able to work with a system of recurring reports / analyses and also be able to create additional report / analyses. Candidate is also responsible for store level planning and analysis for reporting and distribution to field management.
Primary Responsibilities:
Establish, maintain, and provide analyses for all items on the Store P&L as they relate to planning & forecasting. Review of all P&L line item expenses in the form of variance analyses.
Establish, maintain, and provide analyses for all items on the home office, distribution centers, and field P&L as they relate to planning & forecasting.
Develop and perform micro level financial analyses and reporting, ranging from daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
Develop and perform ad hoc financial reporting requested by management.
Participate in collecting and assembling all financial information for external reporting, including information for the Shareholders, investment community, lenders, Board of Directors and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Complete financial related surveys.
